  1. The most challenging thing for me these past three weeks have been my KN 198 class and the new love for working out that I've gained. I think the past three weeks I've been sore EVERYDAY!

  2. These past three weeks have been especially challenging because I had a lazy summer with nothing going on and now I have a household of four with conflicting schedules (my husband and two daughters also attending Washburn!) As much as I'm enjoying my classes I wish I could have bottled up a bunch of those free hours and saved them for this month because I seem to need an extra hour or two every day!! Since school started I've skipped my gym or walking time and grab a coke instead for energy. So it's also been a challenge to get back to eating better and to exercise. Thanks Vanessa for the reminder! : )

  4. The most challenging thing for me these past three weeks has been trying to stay organized. I'm a freshman so I feel overwhelmed at trying to stay on top of things. Homework, reading, what projects are due for who and when, what are supposed to be in the projects, and what to study for! My brain is so tired I don't understand how people get good grades in school and still have a life.

  5. The most challenging thing for me so far this semester has been finding the time to get 8 hours of sleep each night! With school assignments and lots of studying to do, going to work, exercising daily, and everything else I have going on, it is hard to get the amount of sleep I need every night. I've actually been doing well at managing my time so far even though it can be quite a challenge. I hope I can keep it up!

  6. The most challenging thing for me has been finding time to work on my homework and study now that I have a job. It seems like I'm either at school or work all of the time. Hopefully I will get adjusted to this new schedule soon and maybe catch up on some needed sleep.

  7. I'm not sure there's been one specific "most challenging thing" for me the past few weeks. There have been a couple of things that have made some tasks more difficult than I anticipated. I've been on a job hunt and that has conflicted slightly with school. Also, I went to NYC this last weekend for a Labor Day getaway with my mom and girlfriend. I think the trip was planned five days before I left so there was quite a bit of unexpected juggling I had to do before and after my trip. I plan on things settling down and hope that I can find a groove from here on out.

  8. The most challenging thing for me so far is just getting back into the swing of things especially with my altered work week. Tues/Thurs I leave work to go to class and make up that time on Mon/Wed. also leave work on Wed to go to class. It's just a lot for me and my family to get used to but hopefully one more week and we will be set!

  9. The most challenging thing for me so far is really just learning how to manage my time. I have 3 jobs (2 on campus), plus 13 credit hours I'm taking. I always look back at last year and think, how did I do it all! Sometimes I just have to take a deep breath and take it day by day and make a scheduled time to do my homework.

  11. I think the greatest challenge for me at this time would have to be time management. Starting up another fall semester here at Washburn has been exciting but also has required me to make a few changes in my life schedule. Along with this i have changed positions at work so hours have increased and well theres pros and cons to that as well. I've never used a planner in my life but i'm thinking that now might be the time to start.

  12. My greatest challenge (next to not bashing in my computer for going on strike) is time management between working full time, raising two ornery boys under the age of 5 and school. There is only so much color coding you can do in a planner! ;)

  13. My biggest challenge is most certainly finding the time to complete all my work. I work full time, go to school full time, I'm a husband and father full time.
